Over 40 years at the bench
Shaun Chapman is a time-served joiner with more than 40 years’ experience. Old houses are his speciality, and traditional box sash windows most of all.
His approach is simple: repair, don’t replace. Most old sash windows don’t need replacing, just proper care. Original timber is kept wherever possible, and repairs are made like-for-like, with care taken over the character of the house.
When something is past saving, he makes a new sash or window to match in his own workshop, and fits it himself.
